In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Several Ships are ordered to the Downs and will need Provisions. We direct you immediately to give strict orders to the Commissioners of Victualling to supply such Ships coming into the Downs (with a design to stay any time there) with so much Provisions as will complete what they have to ten weeks, or two months, either from Dover, or by sending Ships with Provisions from the River to the Downs, and that they let us know how they intend to proceed.
