In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Having ordered the MAIDSTONE to sail to Portsmouth, Rye or Sheerness, as opportunity shall best present, once in six weeks or thereabouts to be cleaned, we direct you upon her coming to either of these places to cause her to be cleaned, and if she comes to Portsmouth or Sheerness, that she be supplied with what Provisions she wants.
The POOLE being ordered to sail to Portsmouth once in six weeks or thereabouts, during her cruising between the Isle of Wight and Beachy, we direct you to cause her to be cleaned from time to time upon her coming there for that purpose, and furnished with such Provisions she may need.
