In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Understanding that the hired Ship ST. MALO at Plymouth is likely to be longer in fitting for the West Indies than the Service will allow, we direct you forthwith to inquire into this matter, and if you find she cannot be ready by the last of this month to proceed on her intended voyage, you are to discharge her from the Service, and her Officers and Company, excepting the Commissioned and Warrant Officers and their Servants, turned over into the BONAVENTURE and SEAFORD at Plymouth, according as the Navy Commissioner there thinks best for the Service.
You are to give us an account of what you do.
