You reported on the 30th November concerning the Petition of Charles Ardesoif praying that his Invention for preventing Worm damage to HM Ships on Foreign voyages may be made use of.
You informed us that many experiments of this kind have not yet succeeded, but you have no objection to further trials. We suggest paying one side of a Ship bound for the West Indies with the usual stuff, and the other with his composition.
