In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We direct you to cause the BRISTOL at Plymouth to be fitted there for a voyage to the West Indies and victualled for eight months of proper Species for that voyage for her middle complement of Men.
We also direct you to give Orders to the Victualling Commissioners to pay the Pursers of HM Ships bound on Foreign voyages their necessary and extra necessary money, in preference to all other Services, the Ships otherwise not able to sail.
