In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Officers of the Plymouth Yard who surveyed the SUN PRIZE have informed us that the persons who bought the Ship from the Commissioner of Prizes have performed some work to her Hull, which may be valued at fifty seven pounds, and that the new running Rigging which they find Reeved, and the appearance of fitting the worn, with what is on board prepared by them for a further refitting may be worth £15-12-0, which together amounts to seventy two pounds twelve shillings.
We direct you to cause this sum to be paid to the persons who bought the Ship and that the materials be secured for HM's use, but in regard information to us that the Water Cask mentioned in the Inventory valued at £5 is not on board, and that they are converted into a smaller Cask, you are to make them an allowance for the same.
