Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)
The Admiralty Commissioners have been informed by the Captain of the SOLEBAY at Harwich that he is in need of Stores.
They direct that you cause her to be furnished immediately, and that you hasten the Owners of the SMIRNA MERCHANT in sending Stores to her in the Downs.
I am also commanded to send you the Copy of a letter from Captain Warner concerning the Owner and Master of the KATHERINE Hoy, lately carried into France, and their Lordships would have them informed that if they do not speedily appear at a Trial, Orders will be given for prosecuting them.
