A Warrant was given by Admiral Russell dated January 7th 1694/5 for Mr Isaac Townsend to be a Volunteer on board the IPSWICH.
We direct you to cause the usual allowance to be made to him for the time he served in that capacity to the 16th December 1696, we having given him our Warrant of that date to serve on board the said Ship.
