In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The PLYMOUTH has lately struck Rocks near St. Francis Island, and her Rudder is struck off, and most of her false keel. We direct you to make her fit for Sea at Plymouth with all dispatch.
The DREADNOUGHT has arrived at Kinsale from Newfoundland and is ordered to Plymouth. We direct you cause her to be cleaned and refitted there for service in the Channel, and her victuals completed to ten weeks.
