In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to cause the NORWICH in the Downs to be immediately fitted and stored there for a voyage to the West Indies, and her victualling completed to eight months of proper Species for that voyage for her middle complement of Men, to which you are to cause her present number to be reduced, and what Men above that complement to be turned over into the DOLPHIN.
We also direct you to cause the CROWN, SEAFORD and SUN Prize to be sheathed and fitted at Plymouth for a voyage to the West Indies, beginning with the CROWN first and then the SEAFORD, and in case the SUN Prize cannot be sheathed without loss of time, she is then to be fitted without it.
The Ships are to be victualled for eight months each of proper Species for their middle complement of Men, to which you are to cause her present numbers to be reduced, and what Men above that complement turned over into BONAVENTURE, SEVERN, or any other Ships at Plymouth most in need.
