In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Admiral Allemonde has notified the Admiralty that two ships of the Amsterdam Squadron, the LOO and the SUNN when coming out of the Texel in order to rendezvous with the Winter Squadron at Pithead have suffered damage. An Order is given to supply one of them with timber for two anchors and the other a bowsprit from the Yard at Portsmouth. Payment is to be taken from the Commanders of the two ships who are Van Zajl and Van Genderen.
