In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Urgent proposals for the victualling of ships detailed for voyages to the West Indies are called for. The names of the vessels are given in the margin. Instructions are given for a Mr Bussey Mansell to be paid for providing victuals to the LINCOLN or an explanation as to why he should not be paid is to be given. An Estimate for provisions being provided at Cork has been received from Mr Secretary Trumbull and instructing that it is to be forwarded to the Commissioners for Victualling with a request that they examine it and give their opinion on the prices for the various goods to be supplied.
