In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The MERMAID and WINCHELSEA at the Nore have been detailed to convoy colliers to and from New Castle and to remain doing so until further notice. Being now short of Provisions the Commissioners for Victualling are to be ordered to provide whatever their Commanders say they need and to keep the vessels supplied into the future.
