In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The NORWICH, currently in the Downs, is to proceed either to Portsmouth or Chatham depending on the wind. Once there she is to be sheathed and fitted for a voyage to the West Indies. She is to receive eight months victuals for a middle complement of Men. This will require reducing her present complement.
