In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Twenty shillings is to be stopped from the pay of every man found to have delayed returning to his ship and has been apprehended by a Magistrate or other Civil Officer. The money is to be paid to the Magistrates for each man brought in. An exact account is to kept by Clerks of the Cheque stating to what ships the men belong.
