Whereas Commanders of HM Ships have been ordered to comply with the provisions of Articles 1 and 2 of the instructions governing the valuation and sale of Slops, complaints regarding quality continue to be received. The Slopseller of the Navy is to be made aware of the enclosed copy of the Orders as is the Navy Board.
