In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Requiring Orders to be issued for the PORTLAND, MARY Galley, SEAHORSE and DUNWICH to be supplied with eight months Stores at Plymouth for a voyage to the Straits. Two traversing Bomb Vessels are also to be prepared for the same voyage, keeping the Admiralty informed of progress. The SUFFOLK Hagboat is to be fitted and victualled similarly and without delay and the commissioned Officers and Men of the WOOLWICH are to be turned over to the MONCK now fitting out at Chatham; and as soon as she is launched she is to be rigged by Dockyard labour and sailed down to Blackstakes. The wages due to Benet Allen are to be stopped until further notice.
