Lieutenant Jermy of the LION has been ordered to retain George Copell who he had pressed to serve in the Thomas and Johan Hoy as the Master of that vessel had protected from pressing one more seaman than he ought to have done. An extract of Jeremy's letter is enclosed as is a protection.
