Incomplete copy of typescript memoir, with notes and annotations. Annotations include a second set of page numbers, possibly referring to corresponding pages of an original manuscript. Missing pages 43-56, and an unknown number of pages at the end, last page is 188. Towards the back of the volume there is an insert "Note on p.160" which is an extract from the log of F.K. Sumpter, A.B. of the RAPID, from November 1869, which he lent to Littleton in 1910.
