Copy of a confidential letter discussing the defences of Hong Kong, sent to Sir Frederick J.D. Lugard, Governor of Hong Kong, by Vice-Admiral Sir Hedworth Lambton, Commander-in-Chief, China Station, on the armoured cruiser HMS KING ALFRED (1901), dated 25 November 1908.
