In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
James Sothern, Principal Officer and Commissioner is to be allowed the appropriate number of clerks, and is to receive the same salary, as other Board members. He is also to receive the same allowance for house-rent as is awarded to other Commissioners who do not reside in the Navy Office.
