In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

1. Twelve pinnaces are to be provided. Eight of them with eight oars and four with six oars.

2. Three smacks are to be hired or bought, each capable of carrying five men and fitted with three small machines. They are to be victualled for ten weeks.
(Note in margin states the following names).
JOHNATHAN & MATTHEW, hoy;
TRUELOVE, smack;
JAMES, smack.

3. The men of the several ships taken up by Mr Meesher are to be victualled, except where the charter parties provide otherwise.
