1. Mrs Hastings, widow of Captain Anthony Hastings, claims that an imprest of £51-6s-10d outstanding against her late husband on the accounts of the SAPPHIRE, is dated 20th April 1987, although he had been removed from the ship before that date. An explanation is required.
2. The Principal Officers of the Ordnance having asked for 28 to 30 hundred weight of rakings of hemp or similar stuff to be supplied for the service of the machines at Woolwich, their Lordships wish to know whether it has been usual for the Navy to provide this material.
