Following the loss of the JAMES GALLEY, her Captain and Master were court-martialled aboard the SWIFTSURE, at the Nore, and subsequently imprisoned and fined. Those Warrant Officers and others from the JAMES GALLEY who were sent aboard the SWIFTSURE to give evidence are to be borne on the books of the SWIFTSURE as Able Seamen.
