In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Requiring a report on the proposals contained in the enclosed copies of letters sent by Colonel Russell, Governor of Barbados, to the Committee for Trade and Plantations, in which he requests that the island be supplied with a Sloop or Brigantine of the type built at Jamaica. He also suggests that a stock of stores such as masts and spars, careening gear, anchors, cables, hawsers and shrouds be maintained at Barbados for the benefit of any ships ordered there.
