In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

1. The men sent by Captain Fairborne to become Masters of the small Machine Vessels, despite having declined to be examined are, nevertheless, to be appointed so that the vessels may join the fleet without further delay.

2. Confirming that the owners of the Storeships taken up by Mr Meesters to attend the Machine Vessels are to be indemnified against their loss.

3. Are sending the names of several Tenders which Captain Fairborne has ordered to be sent in to the River to be discharged.
