Have received your letter of the 9th instant, giving your reasons why Vice Admiral Hopson is not paid his Half Pay; and in answer thereto we are to acquaint you, that he had orders from this Board the 13th of September last to go to Sea with a Squadron of HM Ships to look after a French Squadron then abroad.
