In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

This Board, our Secretaries and Clerks having signed the Association lately agreed unto by the Honourable the House of Commons, and such as your Members as are in town having done the like, we do herewith transmit the same to you, and desire and direct you to take case that the said Association be tendered to all your Clerks and Instruments, and all the Officers of the Yards, their Clerks and Instruments, and all other Officers under your Inspection, and that the same be done with all speed and when its signed you are to return the same to this Board, in order for our presenting it to His Majesties; And if any of them shall refuse to sign the said Association. You are to give us an account thereof.
