At the Court Martial held on board the LONDON on 25 January 1696/7, Captain Munden, Commander-in-Chief of the Thames and Medway President, Captain Grayden of the VANGUARD, complained of several irregularities committed by Lieutenant John Trehearne, First Lieutenant. Lieutenant Trehearne being found guilty was sentenced to forfeit 3 months pay to the Cheque at Chatham. You are directed to have 3 months of the wages due to Lieutenant Trehearne forfeited to the Cheque.
