In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have confirmed the warrant given by Sir George Rooke, Admiral and Commander-in-Chief in the Mediterranean, to Joseph Bilboy, to be Master Gunner of the SOCIETY bomb vessel, in place of the former removed to the LYME. You are directed to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant as is proper. His warrant is to be dated 5 February 1696/7.
