In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We have received a letter from the Ordnance about the 11 coils of cordage, belonging to that office, seized some time since by officers of the Navy on board the SCARBOROUGH merchant ship. We enclose an extract of their letter. They propose allowing the officers who seized the cordage £10 and you are directed to have the stores delivered to the officers of the Ordnance at Kinsale if you should find that is the due reward for seizing these stores. You are to let us know whether the YARMOUTH hagg boat is a King's ship or hired.
