In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The Commissioners of the Victualling in their letter of today, have asked for money to procure shipping to carry victuals for 2000 men for 4 months to the West Indies, and to purchase oil instead of butter and cheese. We enclose a copy of their letter and direct you to give orders to the Commissioners to proceed as they propose and to solicit the Treasury for money to proceed.
