In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You ae directed to pay Captain Hockaday of the BREDAH, bound to the West Indies, or to such person legally empowered to receive the same, two thirds of the pay due to him. The King is to be made a saver out of the rest of the pay which is due him, in case it is found that he has borne more men than he ought to, or otherwise not complied with his instructions.
