Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)
Their Lordships have given direction the Chief Flag at Spithead and to the Commander-in-Chief at the Nore, to send to Portsmouth and Chatham yards such supernumerary Carpenters as are on board the ships within their reach, and also the Commander-in-Chief at Plymouth is directed to have those Carpenters discharged which are on the ships there.
