In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

You are directed to order the Commissioners of the Victualling to give us an account of how many months, weeks and days provisions for how many men remaining in Ireland, exclusive to the 2000. Direct them not to send us the usual account for the West Indies by stating the number of pieces of pork, pease etc., but to express it in months, weeks and days, so that we may better judge it. Also, they are to let us know what they have done towards taking up shipping to receive the victuals for 4 months for 2000 men.
