In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We think that one of the members of your Board should be sent to Portsmouth to assist in the dispatch of the works to be done to the ships there. You are directed to order Commissioner Willshan to use his utmost endeavours in the dispatch of works to be performed there. We ask that in the estimates you include the dimensions of ships, as well as the numbers of men and the numbers and nature of guns proper for them.
