In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have received your letter of 15 February to our Secretary together with a copy of one from the Commissioners of the Victualling and this is to advise you that the ETNA fireship at Plymouth (and not the BLAZE) is to be fitted for foreign service. The ships directed to be fitted for the Straits and foreign service are to be victualled for their middle number of men. You are directed to have their respective complements to be reduced to their middle number and victualled accordingly.
