In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
John Tanner, late Cook of the THUNDER bomb vessel, is to be appointed Master Cook of the VULCAN fireship, in place of the former dismissed for neglect. You are directed to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant as is proper. His warrant is to be dated 22 February 1696/7.
