Humphrey Middlemore is to be appointed Master Cook of the new 4th Rate building by Mr Parker in Hampton River. You are directed to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant as is proper. His warrant is to be dated 22 February 1696/7.
