A petition has been presented to this Board by James Handley, late Surgeon of the WOOLWICH, setting forth that not withstanding our orders for turning over of officers and company into the MONCK, the Master and Governor of Surgeons' Hall refuse to give him a warrant to be Surgeon of her and have appointed William Sherwood. You are directed to have James Handley appointed to the MONCK and William Sherwood provided for in another ship.
