In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You are directed to pay Captain Walton, Captain of the SEAFORD, bound on a foreign voyage, or to such person who is legally empowered to receive his pay, 2/3 of the pay due to him. You are to take care that the King is made a saver out of the rest of the pay due to him, in case it is found that he has borne more men than he ought, or otherwise has not complied with his instructions.
