Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)
Mr Secretary Vernon has asked the Admiralty Commissioners for a large Draught of the Port of Dover, and the Estimate of the charge of repairing and improving it. Finding no other Draught in this Office than what was sent in your letter of April 2nd 1698 their Lordships direct that if you have any such Draught or Estimate in your office, you should send them here as soon as possible.
