Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)
I lately signified Orders from the Admiralty Commissioners directing you to apply to the East India Company for Credits to the Squadron going there in case they should want Provisions.
Since then, Captain Warren has written for Money to answer other Contingent services of the Squadron, and therefore their Lordships direct that you procure from the East India Company not only Credits for Victuals but such additional Credits you think proper for answering other occasions of the Squadron.
