Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)

I have received your letter of the 16th inst; with the Copy of one from Commissioner St. Lo giving an account of some irregularities committed by Captain Greenhill of the RUPERT, and having laid this before the Admiralty Commissioners they are sending Captain Clarke of the SHREWSBURY to be C-in-C of HM Ships at Plymouth, with Orders to try Captain Greenhill at a Court Martial. You are to inform Commissioner St. Lo accordingly, and he should take care to make out the matter laid to his Charge.
