Document signed by William Lowndes, 1652-1724, Secretary to the Treasury (from 1695) under King William III and Queen Anne.

The Lords of the Treasury direct that the sum of £10,000 now in the hands of the Treasurer of the Navy for wages to seamen (by tallies on the 2 million and on the Coal Act) or by the tallies themselves, be paid to the commissioned and warrant officers of ships and paid off in the same course as the ships were paid. Also, the like money is to be paid to the CENTURION and the MARY galley to Michaelmas 1697.
