Your letter of 17 February advised that you had considered the several petitions about Qs and Rs and you sent us the state of each man's case. The Qs and Rs on James Harris, Samuel Shelley, John Chennick, Richard Greene, John Trawton, William Clarke, and Francis Nation be taken off. The R on Thomas Ching of the FORESIGHT if he was clear to enter the NORTHUMBERLAND as he alleged in his petition. The R on Richard Harrison is to be taken off upon proof being made that he died in Jamaica. The R on William Carr is to be taken off upon proof of his being unfit for service. The R on Robert Larkin of the DEVONSHIRE is to be taken off if he was clear to enter the DOVER prize. The R on Morrice Rowe of the HARWICH is to be taken off. The R on Thomas Slayton is to be taken off upon proof that he drowned.
