In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

His Majesty has directed by warrant under his signature and dated 26 February, that a pension of £100 per annum be allowed to Charles Stewart Esq in consideration of his suffering and service at sea. Also, that he be placed on the Ordinary Establishment of the Navy, paid quarterly and which is to continue during His Majesty's pleasure. You are directed to commence payment of this pension from 26 February and your warrant for doing this is dated from the Admiralty Office 28 February 1699.
