Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)

Concerning embezzlement at Plymouth, the escape of John Cornelius one of the persons suspected of having been involved, and the punishment of him and others. Reference is made to a letter from the Navy Board enclosing a copy of a letter from Commissioner St. Lo; and returning the whole matter to the Navy Board as having sufficient powers of their own to deal with it.
