In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The Commissioners of Victualling have been ordered to send further Provisions to Vice Admiral Aylmer, Commander of the Squadron in the Straits; but doubt has arisen as to how long his existing supplies may last, together with concern that the supplies already ordered have still not been dispatched. The Commissioners are instructed to make contingency arrangements for obtaining supplies from Livorno, Naples or Alicante in case the English supplies do not arrive in time.
