In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Mr Cole late Purser of the CAMBRIDGE is requesting payment of his wages until the time his relief took charge of the Provisions, particularly as he has continued to be responsible for victualling the ship and supplying necessaries during his suspension; and in view of the fact that Cole has submitted a Certificate from Captain Crawley, Commander of the ship, together with his successor having been found a debtor to the Navy, the Navy Board has concluded that Cole should receive his wages.
